Womens Development Cell

The womens development cell of GRIET was formed in motto for the overall development of women staff of GRIET.

International Women's Day Celebrations:

International Womens Day was celebrated in GRIET on 8th March 2010. The Director Prof P.S. Raju, Principal Dr J. N. Murthy and Administrative Officer Shri. K.V.S. Raju preceded the function.

Around 82 women teaching and non teaching staff members attended the function. The Director highlighted on the sharing of skills by lady staff with students. The Principal emphasized on the various roles played by women. Shri K.V.S. Raju commemorated the auspicious role played by women in this Society.

Certain cultural activities were organized like

• Antakshari
• One Minute games
• Musical Chair

There was huge response for the participation in the events. The Program started at 2.30 PM and ended at 4.30 PM
