Vision of EDC:

To develop an ecosystem conductive for students to explore new avenues through innovation and develop products and services which are useful to the society.

Objectives of Entrepreneurship Development Cell:

  1. Increase the number of start-ups
  2. Support to start-ups through training, Incubation space, mentoring and networking
  3. Give training and knowledge on doing business to interested students.
  4. Increase innovative spirit of students by conducting competitions.
  5. Increase exposure of students by sending them to attend competitions outside.
  6. Apply for Incubation and start-up funding
  7. Develop In-house patent filing unit

Achievements: There are 20 Start-Ups at GRIET which include both Product and Service based

  1. 1. Mr.Siddarth one of our students has setup a digital identity solutions provider with the name Syntizen Technologies which was funded by Mastercard and ACPL. The company is valued at 100 crores and having 150 employees
  2. 2. Our Start-up Standard Programmed Instruments has won Chatra Viswakarma Awards 2018 for Start-ups
  3. 3. Our Start-up Rollin has won Distinctive Idea Award in a Hackhathon conducted by Hexagon in association with Telangana Govt and T-Hub on October 20
  4. 4. Our Start-up Sezy won a prize in the Start-up Weekend Hyderabad Competition jointly organized by T-Hub
